Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Magnus Poker game and related services (the "Service"), operated by Magnus Poker ("we", "us", or "the operator"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service is play-money only

Magnus Poker is a free-to-play social casino game for entertainment purposes only. It does not offer "real money gambling" and does not provide an opportunity to win real money or prizes. The virtual chips and items in the game have no real-world monetary value, are licensed to you (not owned), and cannot be redeemed, exchanged, transferred, or cashed out for money or anything of value. Practice or success at social gaming does not imply future success at real-money gambling.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with all laws applicable to you.

3. Your account

You may sign in via Facebook, Google, or as a Visitor. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are engaged in fraud, cheating, or abuse.

4. Virtual items and purchases

  • You may purchase virtual chips or items using the payment methods offered by your app store.
  • All purchases are for a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use virtual items within the Service.
  • Except where required by applicable law or the app store's policies, purchases are final and non-refundable. Refund requests are handled according to the policies of the store through which you purchased.
  • We may modify, manage, or discontinue virtual items at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or automation; reverse-engineer or tamper with the Service; harass other players; infringe others' rights; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, graphics, logos, and content, is owned by the operator or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or virtual items, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Service and any virtual items ends.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. (Operator to confirm governing jurisdiction with legal counsel.)

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
